After more than 15 years walking alongside families and supporting other birth professionals, I’ve learned that our work is as much about connection as it is about skill.
My heart is in helping doulas find their voice, build confidence, and create sustainable practices that honor both their clients and themselves. My path to doula training:
My path to doula training has been shaped by years of hands-on experience and deep community connection. After supporting thousands of families through birth and postpartum care, I found equal joy in mentoring and teaching doulas to grow in confidence and skill. Along the way, I’ve helped launch multiple doula networks to strengthen collaboration and support within our profession, all while maintaining a thriving bedside practice.
Beyond the local community, I engage in national and global advocacy to advance the doula profession and improve access to care. I have served on the DONA International Board of Directors as the Director of Advocacy, the North Central Florida Breastfeeding Coalition, and the Michigan Midwifery Board. As one of the founders of the Doula Friendly® Initiative, I’m passionate about helping hospitals and doulas work together to create more welcoming, equitable birth environments.
